Emerald Business Supply was founded in 1988 by five brothers who grew up on Emerald Street in a proud, working-class Philadelphia neighborhood. Raised by Bob and Catherine O’Connell, the brothers John, Tim, Joe, Jim, and Michael were taught discipline, hard work, service, and loyalty to family and community. Those values shaped their dream of owning a business together.
